samba mounting

Wohoo!
Got it working!
Got up at 5:00 am today and gave it another go. Did some more reading on a few sites, re-read some stuff I did last night, but nothing.
Created another group, and tried the gid option on smbmount, and it worked (changed the group for the folder) but would still not allow me to change/modift/add a folder to the mounted drive.
I then tried using the uid option, and it worked! I had also left out the username and password option… Go figure.

I still haven’t figured out what the password is for (when it prompts you once the smbmount is actioned)…
